Our family is almost totally reunited. Bryce has been in NC visiting my parents and helping out while my mom was in rehab after her knee surgery. She has been here for three weeks! That is the longest we have ever been apart in her entire life. We all missed her like crazy. It was a great experience for her, though, to stretch her wings a bit and be away from mom and dad. She was a big help to my sister, able to stay at home with her cousin a couple of times when he was sick and had to miss school, she got to spend a lot of one on one time with my dad, which I don't think she has ever been able to do before. They even went deer hunting one morning and killed a deer! I think the highlight of her stay was spending two days in my sister's 2nd grade class as a helper. She loved the children, especially one little boy in particular. She is even praying about becoming a teacher herself - at least until she has her own children to teach.
Now, we are here for a couple of days to visit Nannie, pick up Bryce, and head back to sunny Florida before we freeze too death! When Bryce finally gets to hug her Daddy, then our family will be complete once again!
