Lyndsey got this shot on our first evening in Panama City Beach.
Well, I haven't had time to write lately. We are on "Part Two" of our three week Road Trip. Week One was in Panama City Beach. It was quite rainy, but every day gave us a few hours of muted sun, enough to tan a little, but not enough to burn. In that regard, it worked out nicely. We also had lots of good food and spent a bit of time window shopping. One day we took a "Pirate Boat" out for a couple of hours. The "pirates" played games with the kids including sword fighting, water guns, and face painting. Patrick loved the water, but he did get a little seasick. It was really choppy from all the storms. We also got to visit with my grandmother one day who was close by visiting her sister, so it was great to see her. She is 86 and lives in NC, so we only see her a few times a year. She was thrilled to get to see Patrick walking! GG's condo is right on the beach, so the view was phenomenal and I spent hours just staring out at God's creation. One morning, after a particularly rainy night we were greeted with a FULL double rainbow! It was stunning! The pictures don't totally capture it because we tried every single angle, but could not get the entire thing in one shot. Another highlight of the week is that Patrick is definitely a walker now. He is everywhere!! Oh the fun is on now! The downside of our road trip is that Daddy is not with us and we are seriously missing him!! (See you soon, honey!) This week we are in Birmingham having more fun with GG!
