A Day at the Zoo

Today, I got to spend a couple of hours at the zoo alone with my baby boy! I realize that since he will be eight on his next birthday, he is not a "baby" any longer, but he is my youngest child, at least for the forseeable future - so, he is still my baby.

It is not often that I get to spend time with only my youngest, and since the older three kids were in class this afternoon we decided to head to the local zoo to see the new "Black Bear" exhibit.




It was up close and personal!

We also rode the boat to the monkey islands and got some really great shots.




We topped it off with a stop at the playground....




And finally, a new TOY snake before we headed home!
