Triple Blessings!

"Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward.
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,So are the children of one’s youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; They shall not be ashamed, But shall speak with their enemies in the gate." Psalm 127:3-5

After many years of praying and waiting faithfully on God's timing, some dear friends of ours are the parents of three precious little boys. This young Mama carried these three boys to just days shy of 36 weeks gestation. This is quite a miracle and she gives all of the glory to God, as do I - however, I would like to congratulate her as well. She is learning early on what it means to sacrifice for your children. She has carried these boys through the media hype of this flu season, she has stayed home when she would rather have been out to avoid exposing herself to illness. She has eaten healthy foods when she would rather have had holiday goodies in order to give these boys every opportunity for a healthy start in the world. Most importantly, she and her husband have prayed faithfully for these three little ones and God has answered their prayers.

Today, two of the boys will come home with their Mom and Dad to a beautifully decorated nursery and a loving home - custom made by God for them. The last little guy just needs a few more days to get his suck reflex going, and he will be joining his brothers, they were all born with strong, perfectly formed lungs and weighing in at hefty weights!

As you look at this adorable picture of these three little blessings, I hope you can see the hand of God, moving among His people and know that despite the ugliness and despair we see all around us, He is still there, alive and active in the lives of those who follow Him!

Congratulations to my friends -- I can't wait until I get my hands on these little guys!!
