The very next day after my "trust" post, the Lord in His perfect timing brought us a referral for a baby boy. I'm not going to go into a lot of detail yet, because we do not know for sure whether or not he will be our son. From our end, we chose to trust and say yes to this precious life. Now, his birth mom must also agree after looking at our family profile. Considering that it is the weekend, and most lawyers do not want to be in the office on the weekend, I am not anticipating hearing anything before Monday.
We are blown away by the speed of the process and we stand humbled and awed at God's mercy toward us. Imperfect parents that we are. To think that He may be giving us another child to love and raise truly just blows us away. We are not taking one step of this process lightly and whether or not this little boy ends up in our home, we will always pray for him and for the lady who chose to give him life.
I can not wait to share our "official" announcement with all of you! Thank you so much for continuing to pray for us.
