Summer Days.....

It is here! Lazy summer days. We are just hanging out, doing a lot of reading, going to the park and the beach (early in the morning or in the evening of course).... I have a couple of extra things I have been trying to get to throughout the school year that we never seem to have time for, so we are doing those things now. Joshua and Bryce are working through Starting Points, which is a worldview study. We are tackling some tough reading and some thought provoking concepts in an effort to really prepare Joshua and Bryce to be able to clearly articulate what they believe. Lyndsey and Graham are working through a study called Making Brothers and Sisters Best Friends. It is a really solid book, written by three siblings. It is so funny we are all in stitches laughing at the escapades they describe. It also really drives the point home, with lots of Scripture proofs. There is a coloring/workbook that they work out of while I read. They are enjoying our time together a lot, and while they would thankfully already say that they are best friends, they need some tangible ways to work through their conflicts, and this book is helping them with that.

So, that is pretty much what our days look like. It is a great time for fellowshipping with friends and firing up the grill! Happy Summer!
